​735 Firebird Royal Canadian Air Cadets

The Roles are as follows for when you are placed in an NCO position. Nothing is in order on purpose, it is up to each NCO to decide the correct order depending on timing and other factors, the roles can change, add, or remove things every minute, these are just suggestions of what you should need to do most training nights. (if anything needs be added email me and I will update this)

 

LEGEND:

Organize = O

Direct Supervision = DS

Indirect Supervision = IS

Do = D * (only certain things)

NCO = Non Commissioned Officer (Lvl 5A up I believe)

JNCO = Junior Non Commissioned Officer (LVL 4 down I believe)

 

 

Duty NCO: (All Supervising try not to do much, instead teach your lvl 3 & 3 duty cadet how to do it, excluding getting attendance and returning it to Lt. Liggins)

O & S – Flags to be put up & taken down

O – Who the 2 Duty Cadets are one Lvl 2 & one Lvl 3 (Check MOTW for the ones it should be, if not present select another and notify one of the following: SWO, Deputy Sqn Senior, & Sqn Senior)

D* – Bring attendance down and hand to SWO, retrieve from SWO after  or before opening then return to Lt. Liggins

O – Cadet to stand at the flag for opening and closing

O & IS – The 5 min warning and the class over warning (Ask Lt. Wickenden about doing a coms net maybe)

O – Getting the JNCO’s their ID Pins (remembering to have them returned to Lt. Liggins)

O – Late Parade with one of the JNCO’s, have names handed to SWO before the attendance goes away

IS – Canteen w. Canteen NCO for the help that he requires...let him do it but check in on him

O/D* – who collects the roles (*This can be you depending on decisions, if unsure go with normal or ask CI Anderson*)

O & IS – Garbage's/Recycling to be emptied as needed (Dumpsters/Bins outside Back Door of Canteen)

O – Who is calling “Squadron Fall In” and teach if he/she doesn't understand it (Consult a Lvl 5B on the time which that is supposed to happen)

O – All cadets health cards checked... if no card bring to office to call home/speak to Lt. Liggins

[O & DS] OR [D*] – Check of training areas if they are clean and tidy...if not organize for last level to clean up/organize

 

Canteen NCO: (Try not to do much, excluding Cash)

D* – Cash box Retrieve, Use, Return

O – All food/Drinks to be Brought Down

O & IS – Set Up location (get out required items)
